Bismarck, ND – January 7, 2025 – MDU Resources Group Inc. is pleased to announce the appointment of Hart Gilchrist as vice president of business development and external affairs, effective January 13, 2025. Gilchrist brings a wealth of experience and a proven track record, most recently as vice president of safety, process improvement, and operations systems.

In Gilchrist’s role as vice president of safety, process improvement & operations systems for MDU, he was instrumental in enhancing safety protocols, operational efficiencies, and regulatory compliance. Additionally, he spent over 24 years at Intermountain Gas Company, a subsidiary of MDU, where he held various leadership positions, including vice president of operations and director of operations services.

Gilchrist holds a Master of Business Administration from Boise State University and a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance & Marketing from the University of Idaho.
